fairlife is a prominent American brand of ultra-filtered milk that revolutionized the dairy industry with its patented cold-filtration process. This technology allows the milk to be separated into its five basic components—water, vitamins and minerals, lactose, protein, and fat—before being recombined to create a product with 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than conventional milk. Originally launched in 2014, the brand has seen rapid growth, surpassing $1 billion in retail sales by 2022 and maintaining a strong market presence in North America.

The brand was founded in 2012 through a joint venture between Select Milk Producers and The Coca-Cola Company. In January 2020, The Coca-Cola Company acquired the remaining 57.5% stake from Select Milk Producers to become the 100% owner of the company. Today, fairlife operates as a stand-alone business under the Coca-Cola umbrella. Production is distributed across multiple high-tech facilities including locations in Coopersville, Michigan; Waco, Texas; Goodyear, Arizona; and a large-scale facility in Webster, New York. Additionally, the brand caters to the Canadian market using 100% Canadian milk processed at its facility in Peterborough, Ontario.
