TeraBox Cloud Storage

TeraBox is a cloud storage service originally launched as Dubox in 2020. It was developed by Flextech Inc., a company based in Tokyo, Japan. The brand was rebranded to TeraBox in 2021 to better reflect its core offering of providing users with a generous 1TB of free cloud storage space.

While the company is headquartered in Japan and maintains its operations there to ensure data privacy and security standards, it was initially a subsidiary of the Chinese technology giant Baidu. Over time, Flextech has emphasized its independent management based in Japan to address international security concerns. The service is primarily supported by infrastructure in Japan and is localized for a global audience across mobile and desktop platforms.
