Cadbury is a globally recognized British confectionery brand with a heritage dating back to 1824, when John Cadbury opened his first shop in Birmingham, England. Initially known for its cocoa and drinking chocolate, the brand became a staple of British culture, famously known for its 'Glass and a Half' slogan and its association with high-quality milk chocolate. The Original Hot Chocolate remains one of the brand's core products, designed to be swirled into milk for a smooth, creamy beverage.

While the brand was originally family-owned and later merged with Schweppes to form Cadbury Schweppes, it was famously acquired by the American conglomerate Kraft Foods in 2010. Following a corporate demerger in 2012, the brand became part of Mondelēz International, which continues to manage Cadbury's global operations today. While manufacturing for the UK market is still largely centered at the historic Bournville site in Birmingham, production for global markets occurs across multiple facilities worldwide.
