Patak's Korma Curry Paste

Patak's is one of the most recognizable brands for Indian cuisine in the United Kingdom, founded in 1958 by Laxmishanker and Shanta Pathak. The brand began as a small business selling snacks and sweets from their home in London and eventually expanded into specialized curry pastes and sauces that simplified Indian cooking for the British public.

Today, Patak's products are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom, specifically at their large production facility in Leigh, Greater Manchester. The brand has evolved from a family-run enterprise into a global leader in the world food category, maintaining its reputation for authentic spice blends and traditional recipes.

In 2007, Patak's was acquired by Associated British Foods (ABF), a major British multinational food processing and retailing company. Under the ownership of ABF, Patak's continues to operate as a core part of their grocery division, distributing a wide range of pickles, sauces, and spice pastes to markets across the globe.
