King Charles III

King Charles III, born Charles Philip Arthur George on November 14, 1948, serves as the King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms. Born at Buckingham Palace, he is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His accession to the throne occurred on September 8, 2022, following the death of his mother, making him the oldest person to ever assume the British throne.

Throughout his life as the Prince of Wales, Charles was a prolific figure in public service, founding The Prince's Trust in 1976 and championing environmental conservation, organic farming, and traditional architecture. His education at Trinity College, Cambridge, made him the first British heir apparent to earn a university degree. His reign has been marked by significant modern milestones, including his coronation in May 2023 and his continued dedication to the Commonwealth.
