Doux is a historic French poultry brand founded in 1933 by Pierre Doux in Brittany, France. Over the decades, it evolved from a local chicken sales business into an international powerhouse, particularly famous for its frozen whole chickens and 'Chicken Franks' sausages. It became a significant player in the global halal market, exported heavily to the Middle East and Africa.
Following a period of financial restructuring, the Doux brand was acquired in 2018 by the LDC Group (Lambert Dodard Chancereul), the leader in the French poultry market. Today, the brand's processed products are primarily produced at dedicated sites in Brittany, France, maintaining its reputation for French culinary standards while serving over 100 countries worldwide.
