O'boy is a legendary Scandinavian chocolate drink brand that has been a staple in Nordic households since its launch in 1960. Originally developed by the Swedish company Marabou, it quickly became the leading cocoa powder in Sweden, Norway, and Finland due to its unique ability to dissolve instantly in both cold and warm milk.
Today, the brand is owned by the American multinational food conglomerate Mondelēz International, which acquired it through the purchase of Marabou. While the brand carries a strong Swedish heritage, its manufacturing is centered at the Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, which produces products for the entire Nordic market. Over the years, O'boy has maintained its iconic status as the go-to 'after-school' drink for generations.
