Cadum is an iconic French personal care brand founded in 1907 by Michael Winburn. It became famous for its 'Bébé Cadum' (Cadum Baby) imagery, symbolizing softness and purity in skin care. The brand was originally created by the Cadum Company in France to market soap enriched with oil of cade.

Over the decades, Cadum transitioned through different owners, including Colgate-Palmolive and the private equity firm Milestone. In 2012, the brand was acquired by L'Oréal, the world's largest cosmetics company. Today, Cadum is managed under L'Oréal's Consumer Products Division. While the brand maintains a strong heritage deeply rooted in French culture, its manufacturing footprint is integrated into L'Oréal's global industrial network, with primary production for the French market still occurring within France.
