Ubago is a prominent Spanish brand specializing in canned, smoked, and salted fish. Founded in Galicia in 1929, the company moved its headquarters to Malaga in 1953 and later established a major production center in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz). In 2011, Ylara Holding acquired a majority stake, though the management team continues to hold shares. The brand also maintains a significant relationship as a long-term supplier for major retailers like Mercadona.
