Kioxia is a global leader in flash memory and solid-state drives (SSDs). The brand was rebranded from Toshiba Memory in 2019, following its spin-off from Toshiba Corporation. The Exceria G2 line is targeted at high-performance needs, such as 4K video recording, leveraging the brand's pioneering BiCS FLASH 3D technology.

While the internal NAND flash chips are predominantly manufactured in high-tech facilities in Japan, such as the Yokkaichi and Kitakami plants, final assembly and packaging of the retail products may occur in various global locations including Taiwan and China.
