Havanna is an Argentine culinary icon, world-renowned for its premium alfajores and dulce de leche. Founded in 1948 in the coastal city of Mar del Plata by Benjamín Sisterna, Luis Sbaraglini, and Giuseppe Vaccotti, the brand revolutionized the Argentine confectionery market with its distinct recipe and high-quality chocolate coating.

The majority of Havanna's production remains centralized in its massive industrial plant in Mar del Plata, Argentina, where it adheres to traditional quality standards while exporting to dozens of countries. Since 2003, Havanna has been owned by the investment group Desarrollo y Gestión (DyG). Under this ownership, the company has modernized its logistics and expanded its international footprint, particularly across Latin America and Europe, while maintaining its status as a quintessential symbol of Argentine gastronomy.
