Eismann Frozen Products

Eismann is a historic German brand that pioneered the home delivery service for frozen foods. Founded in 1974 in Mettmann, North Rhine-Westphalia, it initially focused on providing households with high-quality frozen specialties directly via its fleet of 'ice cream trucks.' Over the decades, it expanded its catalog to include ready meals, vegetables, meat, and premium desserts.

Manufacturing takes place primarily in Germany through various specialized partner suppliers under strict quality standards. Ownership of Eismann has shifted several times; in the mid-1990s, it was part of the Schöller group (and subsequently Nestlé), but it eventually returned to private equity ownership. Today, the company is owned by the investment firm Gilde Buy Out Partners, maintaining its headquarters in Germany.
