Znojmia Pickles (Okurky)

Znojmia is a historic Czech brand renowned for its traditional pickled cucumbers and vegetable products. The brand takes its name from the city of Znojmo, which has been the center of cucumber cultivation and pickling in the Czech lands since the 16th century. For generations, Znojmia was the quintessential local label for high-quality preserved vegetables in Central Europe.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Czech culinary heritage, the production for specific product lines is sometimes localized where the raw materials are grown. As indicated on the packaging, this particular jar was manufactured in Turkey.

Today, Znojmia is owned by Orkla, a leading Norwegian industrial conglomerate that acquired the brand's original parent company, Hamé. Following a series of mergers, the brand is managed under the Orkla Foods Česko a Slovensko division, combining traditional regional recipes with the resources of a major international food group.
