Hozelock is a flagship British brand founded in 1959 by Sydney Codling in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. The company gained global recognition for inventing the world's first plastic quick-connect hose connector, a design that revolutionized garden irrigation and remains the industry standard today.

While the brand maintains deep British roots with its headquarters in Birmingham and approximately 75% of its manufacturing still taking place in the United Kingdom, it has expanded its production footprint globally to include facilities in France, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China. This ensures a broad distribution network across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since 2012, Hozelock has been owned by Exel Industries, a French engineering group listed on the NYSE Euronext. This acquisition integrated Hozelock into one of the world's leading companies for precision spraying equipment, further enhancing its technological capabilities in the gardening and aquatics sectors.
