ICA Tandtråd

ICA Tandtråd is a private-label dental hygiene product sold by ICA Gruppen, one of the leading retail companies in the Nordic region. The brand originates from Sweden, carrying the legacy of the ICA retailer cooperative which was established in 1938. As a private-label item, it is designed to offer a cost-effective alternative to global dental brands like Oral-B, which is often seen displayed alongside it on Swedish pharmacy and grocery shelves.

The manufacturing of ICA's personal care sundries, such as dental floss and toothbrushes, is typically outsourced to specialized manufacturers. Most of these high-volume plastic and hygienic products are produced in China under strict quality control to meet European safety standards. Ownership remains within ICA Gruppen, which is currently a subsidiary of ICA Växa and partially owned by AMF and the Dutch investment firm HKP (Hakon Invest), following its delisting from the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
