Çamlıca is a village located in the Keşap district of Giresun Province, Turkey. Historically, the village was recorded under the name 'Kuşkaya' in records dating back to 1916. The local population is primarily of East Black Sea Turkish (Oghuz) origin, specifically influenced by the Chepni (Çepni) Turkoman tribes that settled extensively in the Giresun and Keşap regions centuries ago.

The village has experienced significant demographic changes over the last few decades. In 1965, the population was nearly 1,400 residents, but due to economic migration to larger Turkish cities and abroad, the population has stabilized at approximately 500-600 residents as of recent years. The cultural heritage remains deeply rooted in Black Sea traditions, focusing primarily on hazelnut cultivation as the core economic activity.
