Primafrio is a leading European logistics operator specializing in the temperature-controlled transport, consolidation, and storage of perishable goods, pharmaceuticals, and high-value products. Founded in 1963 by José Conesa and Josefina Alcaraz, the company began as a family-run transport business in the Murcia region of Spain. Over the decades, it has grown into a major international player with a fleet of thousands of refrigerated vehicles and a vast network of logistics centers across Europe.

In 2022, the private equity firm Apollo Global Management, through its Apollo Infrastructure funds, acquired a significant minority stake in the company to support its international expansion and sustainability initiatives. Despite this investment, the founding Conesa family remains the majority shareholder and continues to lead the executive management. The company is headquartered in Alhama de Murcia, Spain, and operates across more than 25 countries, serving as a critical link in the European food and pharmaceutical supply chains.
