OLW, which stands for Old London Wasa, is one of Sweden's most iconic snack brands. Founded in 1967 as a joint venture between the Swedish company Wasabröd and the American snack manufacturer Borden Foods, it has played a central role in Swedish "fredagsmys" (Friday coziness) culture for decades.

Today, OLW is a division of Orkla Confections & Snacks Sverige, which is part of the Norwegian Orkla Group. The majority of their potato chips, including the Cream Cheese variety shown, are manufactured at their specialized factory in Filipstad, Sweden, using primarily Swedish potatoes.

Ownership transitioned from the original founders through various corporate restructures until Orkla acquired full control. As a leading Nordic conglomerate, Orkla oversees the brand's production and distribution, ensuring it remains a market leader in the Scandinavian savory snacks category.
