Filodoro is an iconic Italian brand that established itself as a leader in the hosiery industry during the late 20th century. Known for its 'Classic' and 'Fashion' collections, the brand became synonymous with Italian elegance and high-quality materials, particularly in the production of tights, stockings, and leggings.

Originally founded in Italy, the brand's ownership shifted as the global textile market evolved. In the early 1990s, it was part of the American group Sara Lee, but it was later acquired by the Golden Lady Company. Following this acquisition, much of the manufacturing was relocated to utilize large-scale production facilities in Eastern Europe, particularly Serbia, while maintaining the brand's Italian design heritage and head offices in the Mantua region of Italy.
