Filodoro Hosiery

Filodoro is a distinguished Italian brand specializing in hosiery and socks for both women and men. Founded in 1982 by Adriano Rodella in Casalmoro, Mantua, the brand quickly became a significant player in the Italian textile market, capturing a substantial share of the national hosiery industry. The name "Filodoro" itself was inspired by the high-quality Lycra threads used in its products, reflecting a commitment to innovation and comfort.

Over the decades, the brand underwent several ownership changes. In 1993, it was acquired by the American multinational Sara Lee. However, in 2003, it returned to Italian hands when it was purchased by the Golden Lady Company, a global leader in the hosiery sector. Today, Filodoro remains part of the Golden Lady Group, benefitting from the group's extensive manufacturing infrastructure. While its heritage and primary design operations are rooted in Italy, production occurs across the Group's facilities, which include sites in Italy and Eastern Europe, particularly Serbia, ensuring wide distribution across more than 70 countries.
