Whole Earth Crunchy Pindakaas

Whole Earth Peanut Butter (Pindakaas) is a prominent health-focused brand originally founded in London in 1967 by brothers Craig and Gregory Sams. The brand was established to pioneer the natural and organic food movement in the UK.

Starting in 2003, the brand was owned by the Dutch company Royal Wessanen, which later rebranded to Ecotone and moved its headquarters to Lyon, France. Under Ecotone's stewardship, Whole Earth became the number-one peanut butter brand in the UK and expanded significantly across Europe. In late 2024, Ecotone agreed to sell the Whole Earth brand to KP Snacks, a subsidiary of the German-owned Intersnack Group. As of 2026, the brand is part of Intersnack's extensive portfolio of savory snacks and nut products.

While the branding and label in the image are in Dutch (using the term 'Pindakaas'), the product's primary manufacturing hub remains in the United Kingdom, specifically at a specialized nut butter facility in Callington, Cornwall. The peanuts themselves are typically sourced from South America and the Far East to meet high quality and sustainability standards.
