Supra is an iconic footwear brand that emerged from the Southern California skate scene in 2006. Founded by Angel Cabada in Los Angeles, the brand quickly gained a cult following and global fame through its innovative designs, most notably the 'Skytop' silhouette, and its strong associations with professional skateboarders like Chad Muska and Erik Ellington, as well as hip-hop artists such as Lil Wayne and Jay-Z.

Over the years, the brand's ownership has transitioned several times. Originally part of One Distribution, it was acquired by K-Swiss (then owned by South Korea’s E-Land Group) in 2015. In 2019, the Chinese sportswear giant Xtep International Holdings acquired K-Swiss and its portfolio, including Supra. However, in October 2020, the global trademark for Supra was acquired by the South Korean fashion retailer F&F Co., Ltd.

Under F&F's ownership, Supra has been repositioned as a 'street outdoor' and digital fashion brand. While its heritage is American, its modern strategic operations and design leadership are centered in South Korea. Manufacturing typically occurs in multiple countries across Asia, including China and Vietnam, to support its global distribution network.
