Jazz CoMaps

Jazz is a specialized software framework and cloud-based infrastructure designed for local-first collaborative applications. One of its core data structures is the CoMap, which functions as a collaborative key-value object. Unlike traditional databases, Jazz objects (CoValues) like CoMaps synchronize state across devices automatically, providing built-in conflict resolution and permission management.

The project originated as an open-source initiative to simplify the development of real-time, shared applications. It is developed and maintained by the Jazz team, focusing on providing developers with tools for end-to-end encrypted, real-time data synchronization without requiring complex backend management.
