NLZIET subscription service

NLZIET is the leading Dutch video-on-demand and live streaming platform, launched in July 2014. It was created as a strategic partnership between the three major broadcasting groups in the Netherlands: the public broadcaster NPO, and the commercial giants RTL Netherlands and Talpa Network (formerly SBS). This collaboration was designed to offer a local alternative to international streaming giants by consolidating Dutch television content into a single accessible app.

The service provides a comprehensive package of over 40 live TV channels alongside extensive catch-up and on-demand libraries. Over the years, the platform has evolved from a simple catch-up service to a full 'cord-cutting' solution, incorporating regional channels and international content like BBC NL+. Headquartered in Hilversum, the heart of the Dutch media industry, NLZIET continues to be owned equally by its founding media conglomerates, ensuring a strong domestic focus for Dutch audiences.
