Brand Heritage and Identity

AllSaints is a British fashion house that has become a global symbol of industrial, rock-and-roll-inspired design. Founded in 1994 by Stuart Trevor and Kait Bolongaro, the brand was named after All Saints Road in Notting Hill, London. It is widely recognized for its monochromatic palette, distressed leather jackets, and unique store interiors featuring rows of vintage sewing machines.

Manufacturing and Sourcing

The brand's footwear collection is designed in-house at their East London studio. According to official disclosures, the majority of AllSaints footwear is handmade in Northern Portugal by small, family-owned businesses that utilize traditional craftsmanship methods. To ensure ethical and sustainable practices, the brand sources leather from tanneries approved by the Leather Working Group. While footwear is concentrated in Portugal, other product lines like apparel and accessories are manufactured in various locations globally.

Ownership Structure

Since 2011, AllSaints has been under the ownership of Lion Capital LLP, a British private equity firm. Under this ownership, the brand has significantly expanded its international footprint, operating hundreds of stores across Europe, North America, and Asia. It continues to operate as an independent entity within the portfolio of its ultimate owner, maintaining its distinct "cool-girl" and edgy aesthetic.
