Olá Ice Cream

Olá is the iconic Portuguese brand for Unilever's global Heartbrand ice cream line. While the Heartbrand identity is recognized worldwide under various names like Wall's, Algida, or Ben & Jerry's, in Portugal it has operated as Olá since its registration in 1959. Historically, production was centered at the FIMA factory in Lisbon, but today the majority of products for the Portuguese market are manufactured at the specialized Unilever FIMA plant in Santa Iria de Azóia.

As part of the Unilever portfolio, Olá benefits from global distributions and R&D while maintaining deep local roots. The brand produces a wide range of popular frozen treats including Cornetto, Solero, Magnum, and Calippo. Ownership of the brand rests with Unilever, a multinational British company that manages the Heartbrand franchise across dozens of countries, making it the largest ice cream manufacturer in the world.
