Friesche Vlag, which translates to 'Frisian Flag', is one of the oldest and most iconic dairy brands in the Netherlands, established in 1913. The brand's identity is deeply rooted in the province of Friesland, drawing its name and logo from the regional Frisian flag, which features iconic red 'pompeblêden' (water lily leaves).

Historically, the brand was the flagship label of the Coöperatieve Condensfabriek Friesland (CCF) and gained global recognition for its evaporated and condensed milk products. While the brand has a massive international history—originally being the precursor to the global 'Peak' and 'Foremost' brands—in the Dutch domestic market, it remains a household staple primarily known for coffee creamers and specialized dairy liquids.

Today, the brand is owned by Royal FrieslandCampina, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the world. The manufacturing remains centered in the Netherlands, utilizing milk sourced from the cooperative's extensive network of Dutch member farmers.
