Pringles is one of the most recognizable snack brands in the world, famous for its unique hyperbolic paraboloid shape and cylindrical canister packaging. The brand was originally created by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the United States during the 1960s as a solution to consumer complaints about broken, greasy potato chips in traditional bags. The iconic mascot, Julius Pringles, has undergone several redesigns over the decades but remains the face of the brand.
In 2012, P&G sold Pringles to the Kellogg Company (now known as Kellanova), which expanded the brand's global footprint significantly. For the European market, including the Romanian labeled product shown in the image, manufacturing is primarily concentrated in large facilities in Belgium (Mechelen) and Poland (Kutno). This localized production ensures fresh supply chains across Europe. Today, Kellanova continues to innovate with flavors like 'Paprica' (Paprika), which is a staple favorite in European and Middle Eastern markets.
