For decades, the majority of Xerox's office equipment was designed and manufactured through Fuji Xerox, a long-standing joint venture with the Japanese company Fujifilm. Following the dissolution of their partnership agreement in recent years, Fujifilm Business Innovation continues to be a primary original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Xerox products. Xerox also maintains its own product development and relies on a global supply chain for parts and software assembly.
