Shefa is a specialized Saudi electronic platform designed to bridge the gap between charitable donors and patients who cannot afford the financial costs of medical treatments within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It serves as a centralized hub for healthcare philanthropy, ensuring that donations are directed toward verified medical cases in cooperation with national health entities.

The platform was established through a collaborative effort involving several high-level government and health organizations, including the Ministry of Health and the Council of Health Insurance. By integrating with established systems like the Absher application and various public health charities, Shefa provides a secure and transparent environment for social cohesion and medical support. It is overseen by the Health Endowment Fund, reinforcing its status as a key pillar of the Saudi healthcare social safety net.
