Philipps Rasieter (Philips Shaver / Razor)

Philips (Koninklijke Philips N.V.) is a globally recognized Dutch multinational conglomerate. While the brand originated as a lighting and lighting electronics company in Eindhoven, it has evolved into a leader in health technology and personal care appliances. The 'Philipps Rasieter' (German for Philips Shaver) is one of the most iconic products of the brand, featuring their patented rotary cutting system initially introduced in the late 1930s.

The shavers are high-precision instruments manufactured across several global hubs. Premium models, such as the Shaver Series 9000, are often manufactured in the Netherlands (Drachten), while other models are produced in China and Indonesia to serve global markets. In 2021, Philips sold its Domestic Appliances business (including kitchen and home care) to Hillhouse Capital, but significantly, it retained its Personal Care division (shavers and oral care) under the main Philips healthcare umbrella.
