Established in 1948 by the Zwanenberg's Fabrieken company, the brand gained popularity for its high fruit content and vitamin enrichment, particularly Vitamin C (hence the name 'Cévitam'). Over the years, the brand underwent several ownership changes. It was previously under the umbrella of CSM and later H.J. Heinz.
