AEG Dishwasher

AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) is a historic German brand founded in 1883 by Emil Rathenau. Originally a pioneer in electrical engineering and power, it grew to become one of the most prestigious appliance brands in Europe. For over a century, the brand has been synonymous with German engineering and minimalist industrial design.

In 2005, the AEG brand and its household appliance rights were acquired by the Swedish multinational Electrolux Group. Today, AEG operates as Electrolux's premium brand in the European market. While its engineering roots are German, modern manufacturing is decentralized across Europe, with major facilities for dishwashers located in Solaro, Italy, and various sites in Poland.
