Pinewood is a leading specialist in automotive retail technology, providing a cloud-based Dealer Management System (DMS) designed to streamline car dealership operations. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools ranging from sales and service intelligence to financial accounting and customer relationship management (CRM).

Originally established over 20 years ago in the UK, the company was born out of the specific needs of the automotive industry. It spent much of its history as the software division of Pendragon PLC, one of the UK's largest automotive retailers. In early 2024, following a significant structural change, the retail side of Pendragon was sold, and the remaining entity was renamed Pinewood Technologies Group PLC. Today, it operates as an independent, publicly traded technology company focused on digital transformation within the global automotive sector, with a strategic partnership and investment from the American automotive giant Lithia Motors.
