Super Bock lager beer

Super Bock is the flagship beer brand of the Super Bock Group, representing a significant portion of the Portuguese beer market. Originally launched in 1927, it was first registered as a brand of the Companhia União Fabril Portuense das Fábricas de Cerveja e Bebidas Refrigerantes. The brand has achieved global recognition, consistently winning gold medals for its quality at international competitions.

The beer is primarily brewed at the Super Bock Group’s main industrial center in Leça do Balio, Portugal. Ownership of the brand is currently shared between the Portuguese conglomerate Viacer and the international brewing giant Carlsberg Group. This partnership has allowed the brand to expand its presence beyond the borders of Portugal, maintaining its status as a leading export beer, particularly within Europe, Africa, and Asia.
