Ecooking is a prominent Danish skincare brand founded in 2015 by Tina Søgaard, who originally developed the products in her own kitchen as a personal project to address skin changes. The brand is characterized by its 'food-grade' approach to beauty, emphasizing organic and natural ingredients so safe they could almost be used in cooking, which is the inspiration behind the name.

While the brand started in a domestic kitchen, it quickly scaled due to high demand. In 2021, Ecooking was acquired by the investment firm Bluegem Capital Partners through their portfolio company, Beautylux. Today, the products are primarily manufactured in Denmark at the company's own facilities in Reveld, ensuring strict quality control and adherence to European cosmetic standards. The brand maintains a strong focus on vegan formulas and sustainable packaging.
