Campofrío Hot Dog Classic

Campofrío is a household name in Spain, famously known for its wide variety of processed meat products including cooked hams, chorizo, and hot dogs like the 'Hot Dog Classic' shown here. The brand was founded in Burgos, Spain, in 1952 by José Luis Ballvé.

Over the decades, the company evolved into a global player through various mergers. As of the early 2020s and moving forward, the brand is under the ultimate ownership of the Sigma Alimentos group, a Mexican multinational food company which is a subsidiary of Alfa. Despite its international ownership, Campofrío maintains a strong manufacturing presence in its home country, Spain, where most of its regional products are still produced for the European market.
