Čedok is the oldest and most famous travel agency in the Czech Republic, founded in 1920. Originally established as the Czechoslovak Travel and Transport Office, it has become a household name for tourism in Central Europe. The brand signifies a long heritage of providing organized vacations, airline tickets, and accommodation services.

Over the decades, the company transitioned from a state-owned enterprise during the communist era to a private entity following the Velvet Revolution. Since 2016, Čedok has been part of the Polish travel group Itaka, which is the largest travel operator in Poland. While the brand remains deeply rooted in Czech culture and operates primarily out of Prague, its ultimate ownership sits with the Itaka group, which has expanded the agency's reach and modernized its product offerings for contemporary travelers.
