Croky is a classic Benelux snack brand that originated in 1966. It was founded by the Huyghe family in Nieuwkerke, Belgium. The brand was famously named after the family's pet parrot, which can still be seen in the brand's iconic logo today.

Over the decades, the brand became a staple in the Belgian and Dutch markets. In 2004, the brand was acquired by the West Flemish family business Roger & Roger. Today, production is largely centralized in a state-of-the-art facility in Moeskroen, Belgium, where they process local potatoes into a wide variety of flavored crisps. Though ownership has changed through corporate mergers in the past (having been part of United Biscuits for a period), it is currently back in Belgian hands, maintaining its status as a local favorite.
