Biotrue is a flagship brand of contact lenses and eye care solutions developed by Bausch + Lomb. The brand was inspired by the biology of the human eye, featuring materials designed to mimic the eye's natural moisture. Originally founded in 1853 in Rochester, New York, by John Bausch and Henry Lomb, the company has a long history as a pioneer in the optical industry.

Following a series of acquisitions, Bausch + Lomb was acquired by Bausch Health Companies (formerly Valeant Pharmaceuticals) in 2013. However, in May 2022, Bausch + Lomb Corp was spun off as a separate publicly traded company once again. Manufacturing for their contact lens lines primarily takes place in high-tech facilities in the United States and Waterford, Ireland, to serve global markets.
