El Espíritu de un Pueblo album

El Espíritu de un Pueblo is a historic musical production and documentary special released in 1995. It was commissioned by Banco Popular de Puerto Rico as part of their annual musical tradition, which began in 1993 to celebrate Puerto Rican culture, Christmas traditions, and Latin music. The project features a star-studded cast of Latin music icons including Juan Luis Guerra, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony (listed as Marco Antonio Muñiz), and Ednita Nazario.

The production was originally created and funded by Banco Popular, the largest financial institution in Puerto Rico. Unlike traditional commercial music releases, these annual specials were primarily intended as philanthropic and cultural initiatives, with proceeds often benefiting the Banco Popular Foundation. The physical media, such as CDs and VHS tapes (and later DVDs), were produced primarily in the United States and Puerto Rico for distribution through bank branches and local retailers.
