Castus Frugtstänger are well-known Danish fruit snacks primarily made from dates and berries. Founded in 1952, the Castus brand has established itself as a staple in the Nordic market, particularly within the 'Kids' segment, by offering snacks with no added sugar. The product shown is a strawberry and date fruit stick, marketed with high fiber content and natural ingredients.

The brand originated in Denmark and continues to manufacture its products there. In 2003, Castus was acquired by the Dutch company Royal Wessanen (now known as Ecotone). Ecotone is a leader in organic and sustainable food products in Europe. Despite the international ownership, Castus remains a deeply rooted Danish brand with local production facilities in Vadum, Denmark.
