While the brand is Swedish in its commercial origin, the manufacturing of its core products, especially its PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) Feta, takes place in Greece to adhere to traditional standards and legal requirements. Today, Fontana remains a family-owned business, managed by the second generation of the Papadopoulos family, maintaining its headquarters in Tyresö, Sweden.
