Red Tulip is an iconic Australian chocolate brand, famously known for its seasonal offerings such as Easter bunnies and eggs. The brand was established in 1944 in Melbourne, Australia, by the Werther family and quickly grew to become a household name within the Oceania region.

Throughout the decades, the brand underwent several ownership changes. It was initially acquired by Cadbury Schweppes in the 1980s. Following the global split of Cadbury Schweppes and the subsequent acquisition of Cadbury by Kraft Foods (now Mondelez International), Red Tulip became part of one of the world's largest confectionery portfolios.

While Red Tulip remains a staple of the Australian Easter season, manufacturing shifted over the years. Historically produced in the Ringwood factory in Victoria, many products are now manufactured in other facilities within the Mondelez network, including sites in China, to meet high seasonal demand. Today, the brand is owned by Mondelez International, a multinational food and beverage conglomerate headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
