While the brand maintains its strong regional identity and is primarily brewed at its historic brewery in Assemini, Sardinia, it has been part of a major international portfolio for decades. In 1986, the brand was acquired by Heineken, which has since invested in the local production facilities to expand the brand's reach across Italy and beyond. Despite the global ownership, the beer is still proudly produced in Italy.
