These electronic appliances are typically manufactured through licensing agreements in China, while a large portion of their traditional hard-sided cooler production remains in Katy, Texas.

In 2021, Dometic Group, a Swedish global market leader in mobile living solutions, acquired Igloo Products Corp. This acquisition integrated the historic American cooler brand into Dometic’s global portfolio, enhancing their presence in the North American outdoor consumer market. Moving into 2026, the brand continues to operate under the stewardship of Dometic, maintaining its heritage while benefiting from Swedish engineering and global distribution networks.
