Binaca is a heritage brand originally known for its oral care products, particularly its breath sprays and toothpastes which gained massive popularity in the mid-20th century. While it was once an iconic brand in Europe and the United States, its ownership and availability have shifted significantly over the decades. Today, the Binaca trademark for oral care is primarily maintained and manufactured in India, where it has been revitalized as a brand for affordable and Ayurvedic dental care hygiene.

The global rights to the Binaca brand became fragmented after the original company, Ciba-Geigy, merged and sold off various divisions. In the Indian market, the brand was acquired by Dabur, one of India's largest fast-moving consumer goods companies. Under Dabur's stewardship, Binaca has focused on everyday oral hygiene tools, such as toothbrushes, leveraging the company's vast manufacturing network and expertise in herbal and consumer science.
