The brand is unique for maintaining its own production facility in Łaziska Górne, Poland, which allows it to have direct control over the quality, assembly, and testing of its memory modules and solid-state drives.

The brand's history is deeply rooted in the expertise of its parent company, Wilk Elektronik SA, which began as a distributor in the early 1990s. Over the decades, Goodram has evolved from a local manufacturer to an international exporter, providing consumer-grade products like USB flash drives and SD cards, as well as enterprise-level ECC RAM and high-speed SSDs for data centers. The brand remains under its original Polish ownership, representing one of the few memory manufacturers based entirely within the European Union.
