Dynafit is a premier mountaineering brand with a rich history rooted in the Austrian Alps. Founded in 1950, the company initially gained fame for its ski boots and helped revolutionize the sport by introducing the world's most successful ski touring binding system. Today, the brand is synonymous with speed-up mountaineering, focusing on lightweight and technical efficiency for alpine athletes.

While the brand's heritage is deeply Austrian, it underwent several ownership changes before being acquired by the Oberalp Group in 2003. Most of Dynafit's high-performance metal components and carbon-enhanced skis are manufactured in specialized facilities in Austria (often through partnerships with Fisher or specialized wood workshops) and Tunisia (for softgoods and certain footwear), ensuring high quality and precision for extreme conditions.
