Mokaï is a well-known Danish cider-based beverage brand that rose to significant popularity in the late 2000s and early 2010s in Denmark. It was originally created by the Danish beverage company Cult, founded by Brian Sørensen in 1998. The brand is particularly famous for its Elderflower (Hyldeblomst) flavor, which is depicted in the image. Mokai is primarily produced in Denmark.
In 2018, the Royal Unibrew group acquired Cult and its portfolio of brands, including Mokai, Cult Energy, and Shaker. Today, Royal Unibrew, which is one of the largest beverage companies in the Nordics headquartered in Faxe, Denmark, continues to own and distribute the brand. The product remains a staple in Danish nightlife and retail, known for its sweet, sparkling profile and recognizable bottle design.
